Bitou Cape Listening Waves Campground Introduction
Bitou Cape Listening to the Waves Camp used to be a base for the Marine Corps. Due to changes in the larger environment, the camp was left idle for nearly 20 years after the withdrawal of the guards. To effectively utilize the tourism resources, the Northeast Coast National Scenic Area Administration repurposed the existing buildings, preserving their military style. The visual color scheme includes black, green, brown, and earth tones, enhanced with "pink" camouflage, representing a gentle yet strong force, symbolizing passion, romance, and love. The Listening to the Waves Camp is located along the Bitou Cape Trail and is about a 30-minute walk from the trail entrance next to Bitou Elementary School. Along the way, visitors can slowly admire the magnificent mountains, sea bays, and cape, the fascinating coastal erosion landscapes, and the vibrant seaside plants. It is a trail suitable for people of all ages. If you have the chance to plan a trip to Bitou Cape, be sure to visit this camouflaged café in the valley.
