Bitou Cape Listening Camp Introduction
Bitou Cape Listening to Waves Camp used to be a base for the Marine Corps. Due to changes in the overall environment, the camp was abandoned for nearly 20 years after the guards were withdrawn. To effectively utilize tourism resources, the Northeast Coast Management Office repurposed the original buildings and gave them a makeover, preserving the existing military style. The visual colors include black, green, brown, and earth tones, along with a "pink" camouflage representing gentle yet strong power, symbolizing passion, romance, and love. The Listening to Waves Camp is located along the Bitou Cape Trail Ridge Line. From the trail entrance next to Bitou Elementary School, it takes about 30 minutes to walk there. Along the way, visitors can slowly enjoy the magnificent mountain-sea bay cape, the magical sea erosion landforms, and the richly blooming coastal vegetation. It is a trail suitable for all ages. If you have the opportunity to plan a little trip to Bitou Cape, be sure to visit this camouflage café in the valley.
