Bitou Cape Listening Waves Campground Introduction
Bitou Cape Listening Waves Camp used to be a Marine Corps guard base. Due to changes in the environment, the camp was abandoned for nearly 20 years after the withdrawal of troops. To effectively utilize tourism resources, the Northeast Coast National Scenic Area Administration repurposed the original buildings, preserving the existing military style. The visual colors include black, green, brown, and earth tones, along with the addition of "pink" camouflage, representing a gentle yet strong power, symbolizing passion, romance, and love. The Listening Waves Camp is located along the Bitou Cape Trail Ridge Valley Line. Starting from the trail entrance next to Bitou Elementary School, it takes about 30 minutes to walk there, allowing visitors to slowly appreciate the magnificent mountain and sea bays, the fascinating coastal erosion terrain, and the vibrant coastal plants along the way. It is a trail suitable for all ages. If you have the opportunity to plan a small trip to Bitou Cape, be sure to visit this camouflage café in the valley.
