Maoao Story House Introduction
Mao'ao Story Hall is a new recreational spot on the old Caoling Circular Line bicycle path, retaining coastal native forests, traditional rice terraces, stone houses, and natural boulder trails. Walking through the park, the greatest enjoyment comes from standing under the refreshing shade, feeling the rhythm of the wind through the treetops and listening to the timeless sound of the tides from Mao'ao Bay. The Mao'ao park officially opened on September 18 this year (113). Upon entering the park, the first sight is the multifunctional shop at the observation deck. Climbing to the second floor's observation platform offers an unbeatable view of the sea at Mao'ao Bay. As you explore the park along the boulder path through the rice terraces, you can see the stone houses built using traditional techniques such as horizontal stacking, random stone stacking, and herringbone patterns. Next to it is a local agricultural experience space and a sunrise viewing platform that welcomes the first light of dawn. In recent years, the area has become famous for its delicious small squid rice noodles and hearty seafood porridge. Additionally, there are local food vendors and snorkeling experiences nearby, providing new travel options for Mao'ao.
