Guoshengpu Base (Shan Hai Fang Yuan) Introduction
Guoshengpu Base is located next to Cape Yehliu, adjacent to Yehliu Geopark, west of Jinshan Cape and Tiaoshih Coast, and east of Emerald Bay, featuring a picturesque mountain and sea landscape along with rich ecology. Guoshengpu was once a military coastal defense checkpoint that was not open to the public. After relinquishing its defense duties in response to changing times, the idle land and abandoned barracks were legally allocated by the Keelung City Government in April 2016. The base retains elements of a coast guard post and a pillbox, while revitalizing the exterior and interior of the old barracks. A local team, Shanhai Fangyuan, has been invited to provide unique dining services, serving as a connecting point between Jinshan and Yehliu. You are welcome to visit Guoshengpu Base to enjoy delicious food, gaze at Cape Yehliu, the Datun Mountain Range, and coastal erosion landscapes, and experience the healing essence of Yehliu's most beautiful secret spots.
