Guoshengpu Base Introduction
Guoshengpu Base is located next to Cape Yehliu, near Yehliu Geopark, connecting Jinxian Cape and Tiaoshih Coast to the west, and Emerald Bay to the east, featuring mountainous coastal landscapes and rich ecology. Guoshengpu was once a military coastal defense control point that was not open to the public. After relinquishing its national defense duties in 2016, the idle land and abandoned barracks were legally allocated by the North Coast and Guanyin Mountain National Scenic Area Administration. The base retains elements of the coast guard lookout and bunkers, revitalizing the appearance and interior of the old barracks. A local team, Shanhai Fangyuan, has taken residence to provide unique dining services, serving as a connecting service point between the Jinxian area and Yehliu. You are welcome to visit Guoshengpu Base to enjoy delicious food, gaze at Cape Yehliu, the Datun Mountain Range, and the coastal erosion landscape, and experience the healing effects brought by the most beautiful hidden gem of Yehliu.
