Located in Taimali, the Huayuan Sunrise Viewing Platform has become the latest secret spot for watching sunrises and ocean views in Taitung since its opening in 2021, following the Duliang Station. The spacious platform offers a panoramic view of the M-shaped Huayuan Bay's seascape, while also overlooking the traffic of the Southern Link Railway and Provincial Highway 9 below. The dynamic trains and the tranquil Pacific Ocean create a picturesque scene reminiscent of a postcard. Nearby, there are also popular photo spots that allow you to fully appreciate the blue of Taitung's ocean.
