Qingzhou Bay Introduction

The Qingzhou Coastal Recreation Area, featuring blue oceans and sunny beaches, spans approximately 5 hectares and is located at the confluence of the Dapeng Bay National Scenic Area's estuary. It is bordered by Dapeng Bay and faces the Taiwan Strait and Xiao Liu Qiu. The location and transportation conditions are quite favorable, with a mild climate year-round. Qingzhou boasts expansive sandy areas, a scenic boardwalk with excellent sea views, and picturesque flower fields, offering stunning vistas of Xiao Liu Qiu and distant boats. Adjacent to the Peng Bay Cross-Sea Bridge, it is the best spot to observe the bridge's opening. The coastal bike path connects Qingzhou, the Dapeng Bay International Leisure Zone, and surrounding towns, forming a circular sightseeing route and making it an important transit point for Dapeng Bay tourism. The uniquely designed Visitor Center features a bright white roof structure resembling a soaring Dapeng bird. The three-story visitor center has the first floor planned as a tourist information service station, also offering local souvenir sales and bike rentals. The second floor is a multi-functional audio-visual center equipped with 125 tiered seats, a large projection screen, a small stage, and a dedicated equipment control room, providing facilities for educational audiovisual presentations, cultural events, and business meetings. The third floor, 631 cafe, offers an outdoor seating area with light snacks and beverages. The elevated location allows guests to comfortably enjoy the dynamic scenery of the Peng Bay Cross-Sea Bridge during its opening and the stunning sunset reflections on the sea, showcasing the beautiful vistas of both the Taiwan Strait and Dapeng Bay, making 631 cafe a popular recommended spot for bridge viewing. The Membrane Viewing Area, with its avant-garde design, offers exceptional views of Xiao Liu Qiu and the Taiwan Strait. The unique structure gathers the sounds of the waves, allowing visitors to experience three-dimensional audio effects of the ocean’s roar, creating a distinctive alternative enjoyment. Information boards have been established to help visitors better understand the culture of the Dapeng Bay lagoon fishing village, the development of the Dapeng Bay area, and the beauty of Xiao Liu Qiu, enhancing their recreational experience. The coastal boardwalk, approximately 300 meters long, rests along the shores of the Taiwan Strait and features resting pavilions where visitors can stroll and take a break, sharing in the unique blue sea elements and green phytoncide of Qingzhou.
