East Coast Ocean Park Introduction
The golden beach in front of Donglin Seaside Park, once filled with landmines and barricades like all beaches in Kinmen, has transformed as cross-strait tensions have eased. The military defense structures have been removed, and this high-quality golden beach on the southeast coast of Donglin is now a great spot for tourists to enjoy the sea and surf, clean and pollution-free, making it a major attraction in Little Kinmen. Donglin Seaside Park covers an area of 3 hectares and is located right by the shore, just a short distance past Victory Gate. The golden beach sparkles under the sunlight and features a sculpture plaza with many lifelike animal statues, such as dolphins, horseshoe crabs, and herons, which are very popular with children. There are also forest activity areas and viewing pavilions where visitors can enjoy the sea breeze, listen to the sound of the waves, and appreciate the beautiful scenery of blue sea, sky, and golden sand. On weekends, you can often see groups of friends gathering to play in the water or have barbecues, making it a delightful retreat and the best place for family fun.
