Donglin Coastal Park Introduction
The golden beach in front of Donglin Coastal Park, like all beaches in Kinmen, was once filled with landmines and barbed wire due to military defenses. However, with the easing of tensions between the two sides, these military installations have been dismantled. This high-quality golden beach on the southeastern coast of Donglin Village is now a great spot for visitors to enjoy the sea and waves. Clean and pollution-free, it has become a major attraction in Little Kinmen. Donglin Coastal Park spans 3 hectares and is located near Victory Gate by the seaside. The golden beach sparkles under the sunlight, and the park features a sculpture plaza with numerous lifelike animal statues, such as dolphins, horseshoe crabs, and herons, which are loved by children. There are also forest activity areas and viewing platforms where visitors can listen to the sound of the waves while enjoying beautiful views of the blue sea, sky, and golden sand. On holidays, groups of friends can be seen gathering to play in the water and have barbecues, making it a delightful spot for family fun.
