Lieyu Township Cultural Center Introduction
Liouciou Township Cultural Center is located at the former site of the Liouciou Township Office. It was renovated and transformed into a cultural exhibition center in 2006. The interior displays many precious local cultural assets, and the facility is managed by dedicated staff who provide explanations. Covering more than 300 ping, the Liouciou Township Cultural Center is an important preservation site for cultural assets in the Liouciou area. The collection includes a wide array of items, from residents' daily necessities, clothing, farming tools, and traditional architectural furnishings to military-related artifacts, allowing visitors to understand the local customs and traditions through the displayed items. The first floor features a permanent exhibition space, an activity center, and an audiovisual room, showcasing various tools used by Liouciou residents for daily life and farming, as well as military and civil defense facilities. The second floor serves as a permanent exhibition and special exhibition space, frequently hosting works from artists in Taiwan or Kinmen. It also includes a cultural research room and a collection room, making it an ideal venue for appreciating arts and cultural events in the Liouciou area. Through its exhibitions, the Liouciou Township Cultural Center enhances visitors' understanding of the cultural development of Liouciou Township.
