Lieyu Township Cultural Center Introduction
Lieyu Township Cultural Museum is located at the former site of the old Lieyu Township Office. After being renovated into a cultural exhibition hall in 2006, it showcases many precious local cultural assets, managed and explained by dedicated staff. Covering an area of over 300 ping, the Lieyu Township Cultural Museum is an important site for the preservation of cultural heritage in the Lieyu area. The museum's collection includes a wide variety of items, from residents' daily necessities, clothing, agricultural tools, and ancient house decorations to military-related objects from wartime, allowing visitors to understand the local customs and traditions of Lieyu through the displayed items. The first floor of the museum features permanent exhibition spaces, an activity center, and an audiovisual room, displaying various tools used by Lieyu residents in daily life and agriculture, as well as civil defense military facilities. The second floor includes permanent and special exhibition spaces, frequently hosting exhibitions of works by artists from Taiwan or Kinmen, as well as a cultural and historical research room and a collection room for artifacts, making it the best place to enjoy cultural activities in the Lieyu area. Through the exhibition of artifacts, the Lieyu Township Cultural Museum helps visitors gain a deeper understanding of the cultural development of Lieyu Township.
