Hou-Lin Rifle Simulation Shooting Range Introduction
The Houlin Rifle Simulation Shooting Range is located in the Houlin Camp of Houtou Village in Lienchiang Township, connecting to the main road of Lieyu, making it very accessible. The camp was originally a logistics supply unit for the military and later also housed a medical station. The camp contains various warehouses, and upon entering the main gate, you will see signs on the walls indicating the important functions of maintenance, transportation, medical care, ammunition, water collection, and waste collection that the camp used to serve. In 2014, the military was withdrawn, and the camp was transferred to the Kinmen County Government for use. The National Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology was commissioned to develop and purchase related rifle simulation shooting equipment, which was launched in late January 2018, allowing the public to visit and experience it. This is the first rifle simulation shooting range in the country. When visiting Lieyu, do not forget to try the simulation shooting experience. Dress in camouflage, carry a rifle, and transform into a soldier defending your homeland in the simulated animated scenes. After completing the activity, you can also receive a commemorative certificate, which is quite valuable! The experience is limited to individuals aged 12 and above.
