Houlin Rifle Simulation Shooting Range Introduction
The Houlin Rifle Simulation Shooting Range is located in the Houlin Military Camp, situated in Houtou Village, Lieyu Township. It connects to the main road of Lieyu, making transportation very convenient. The camp was originally used by the military for logistical support, and later had a medical station. Inside the camp, there are various warehouses, and as you step through the main gate, you'll see signs indicating the camp's past important roles, including maintenance, transportation, medical services, ammunition storage, a water collection station, and a waste collection station. In 2014, the military withdrew, and the camp was handed over to the Kinmen County Government for utilization. The National Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology was commissioned to develop and procure related rifle simulation shooting equipment, which officially opened at the end of January 2018. This facility is the first rifle simulation shooting range in the country, and when you visit Lieyu, don’t forget to experience the simulation shooting here. Dress up in camouflage, carry a rifle, and become a military leader defending your homeland in the simulated animated scenes. After completing the activity, participants can also receive a special certificate, making it a memorable experience! **Rifle Simulation Experience Notes:** - Advance reservation by phone is required, with the following schedule: - A cleaning fee of NT$50 is charged for the experience.
