Houlin Rifle Shooting Simulation Hall Introduction
The Houlin Rifle Simulation Shooting Hall is located in the Houlin Camp in the Houtou Village of Lieyu Township, well-connected to the main roads of Lieyu, making it very accessible. The camp was originally used as a military logistics supply unit, later housing a medical station. Within the camp, there are various warehouses, and upon entering the camp gate, one can see the wall signs indicating the essential functions that were previously conducted here, including maintenance, transportation, medical services, ammunition, water collection stations, and waste collection. In 2014, the military was disbanded, and the camp was handed over to the Kinmen County Government for utilization. It was managed by the National Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology, which developed and acquired related rifle simulation shooting equipment, officially opening to the public at the end of January 2018. It is the first rifle simulation shooting hall in the country. When visiting Lieyu, don’t forget to experience the simulated shooting, wear camouflage, and carry a rifle, transforming into a military leader defending your homeland in simulated animated scenes. After the activity, participants can receive a special certificate, which holds considerable commemorative value! Simulation rifle experience guidelines: ◾️ An appointment must be made by phone in advance, as shown in the table below: ◾️ The experience fee includes a cleaning fee of NT$50.
