Houlin Rifle Simulation Shooting Range Introduction
The Houlin Rifle Simulation Shooting Range is located in the Houlin Military Camp in Houtou Village, Lieyu Township, connected to the main roads of Lieyu, making transportation very convenient. The camp was originally a military logistical supply company and later housed a medical station. Within the camp, there are various types of warehouses. Upon entering the camp gate, one can see signs on the walls indicating the important operations that took place there, including maintenance, transportation, medical services, ammunition, water collection stations, and waste collection stations. In 2014, the military was downsized, and the camp was transferred to the Kinmen County Government for utilization. The National Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology was commissioned to research and procure related rifle simulation shooting equipment, which was put into operation at the end of January 2018. It is the first rifle simulation shooting range in the country, and when visiting Lieyu, don’t forget to come here to experience the simulation shooting. Dress in camouflage, carry a rifle, and in the simulated animated scene, become a military officer defending your homeland. After the activity, participants can receive a special certificate, making it a valuable memento! Simulation Rifle Experience Notes: - Reservation Method: A total of 10 sessions daily, limited to 12 participants per session. General reservations: 8 spots by phone, 4 spots for on-site registration. Group reservations: open for 20 to 24 people, sessions from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM. Groups with fewer than 20 participants will be charged as 20. General reservations should be made at least one month in advance, and group reservations at least two months in advance. - Safety Considerations: Experiences are limited to those aged 12 and above. To avoid affecting your rights, please check in at least 10 minutes before the reserved session. If you wish to change into military camouflage, please check in at least 20 minutes before the reserved session. Late arrivals may result in cancellation at the discretion of the venue.
