Yu Da-wei Memorial Museum Introduction
The Yu Dawei Memorial Hall is elegantly constructed with gray bricks and green tiles, complemented by the beautiful greenery outside, creating a serene atmosphere. Upon entering the hall, visitors are greeted by a bust of Mr. Yu Dawei, with a couplet describing his character: "A man of both literature and martial skills, a distinguished and independent gentleman," indicating his multifaceted talents. During the Quemoy Campaign (823 Artillery Battle), Mr. Yu not only organized the troops systematically but also bravely fought alongside the soldiers on the front lines, earning great admiration during his lifetime. The hall details Mr. Yu's interests and contributions during the war, showcasing various medals, among which the most attractive is the "Order of the Blue Sky and White Sun," known for being a "Get-Out-of-Jail-Free Card"!
