Kinmen Animal Breeding Station Introduction
The Kinmen Animal Husbandry Experiment Station was established in 1958, originally as the Kinmen Horse Farm. It was renamed Kinmen Livestock Farm in 1979 and converted to the Kinmen Animal Husbandry Experiment Station in 1985, focusing on the development of the regional livestock industry and the production and sale of "grassland" fresh milk. Since 2011, the station has introduced Australian Brangus cattle for breeding management and promotion, while continuing its efforts to promote the local "Kinmen Sorghum Meat." The park features a petting zoo, a data center, a farmer's classroom, a viewing stable, a Pangula Grassland, a Brangus area, and a sika deer area, along with a viewing platform converted from a parachute fortress. In recent years, the Kinmen Animal Husbandry Experiment Station has actively transformed into a local leisure ranch, explaining the livestock industry of Kinmen to visitors and conducting outdoor experience activities. In the future, there are plans to organize parent-child experience tours, and don't miss the chance to taste the station's self-made products, especially the unique fresh milk and various flavored popsicles that are sure to make you crave for more!
