Kinmen Animal Industry Experiment Station Introduction
The Kinmen Livestock Experiment Station was established in 1958, originally as the Kinmen Ranch. In 1979, it was renamed Kinmen Livestock Farm, and in 1985 it was restructured as the Kinmen Livestock Experiment Station, dedicated to the development of the local livestock industry and the production and sale of "green pasture" fresh milk. Since 2011, Australian Brahman cattle have been introduced for breeding management and promotional activities, while continuing to promote local "Kinmen Zhuza beef." The park currently features a petting zoo, a resource center, a farmer's classroom, an exhibition stable, a Pangong grassland, a Brahman area, and a sika deer area, as well as an observation deck converted from an anti-airdrop fortress. In recent years, the Kinmen Livestock Experiment Station has actively transformed into a leisure ranch, explaining the livestock industry of Kinmen to tourists and conducting outdoor experiential activities. In the future, family-friendly experience tours will be planned, and don't miss the chance to taste the station's homemade products, especially the special fresh milk and various flavored ice pops that are addictive!
