Kinmen Animal Husbandry Experimental Station Introduction
The Kinmen Livestock Experiment Station was established in 1958, originally as the Kinmen Horse Ranch. It was renamed Kinmen Livestock Farm in 1979 and further restructured as the Kinmen Livestock Experiment Station in 1985. The station is dedicated to the development of the local livestock industry and the production and sale of "Grassland" fresh milk. Since 2011, it has introduced Australian Black Angus cattle for breeding management and promotion, while continuing to promote "Kinmen Rice Wine Beef" in the region. The facility currently features a cute animal area, a data museum, a farmers' classroom, a horse viewing stable, a pangolah grassland, a Black Angus area, and a sika deer area. Visitors can also check out the observation deck converted from the parachute landing fortress. In recent years, the Kinmen Livestock Experiment Station has actively transformed into a local leisure ranch, explaining the livestock industry of Kinmen to tourists and conducting outdoor experience activities. Future plans include family experience tours, and don’t miss the chance to taste the station's homemade products, especially the fresh milk and various flavored popsicles, which are addictive!
