Kinmen Animal Breeding Station Introduction
The Kinmen Livestock Experiment Station was established in 1958, originally as the Kinmen Horse Ranch. It was renamed Kinmen Livestock Farm in 1979 and then restructured as the Kinmen Livestock Experiment Station in 1985. The station is dedicated to the development of the local livestock industry and the production and sale of "Green Pasture" fresh milk. Since 2011, it has introduced Australian Black Angus cattle for breeding management and promotional activities, while continuing to promote the local "Kinmen Sorghum Beef." The park currently features a petting zoo, a museum, a farmer's classroom, an observation stable, a Pangula grassland, a Black Angus area, and a sika deer area, with a viewing platform converted from a former anti-aircraft bunker. In recent years, the Kinmen Livestock Experiment Station has actively transformed into a leisure farm, explaining the livestock industry in Kinmen to visitors and offering outdoor experiential activities. In the future, it plans to develop parent-child experience activities, and don't miss the chance to taste the station's homemade products, especially the unique fresh milk and various flavored popsicles that are addictive!
