Kinmen Peace Memorial Park (Lincuo Artillery Position) Introduction
The Kinmen Peace Memorial is located at the main battlefield of the Battle of Guningtou. Along the roads within the park, you can see various forms and sizes of bunkers hidden among the hills. To commemorate General Hu Lien, who commanded the victory in the Battle of Guningtou, as well as the soldiers who participated in the battle, this area has been designated as the "Kinmen Peace Memorial Park." The park features the Hu Lien Memorial Hall and a peace bell made from artillery fragments. In 2011, a ceremony was held to simultaneously ring the peace bell at the Volkspark Friedrichshain in Berlin and the Kinmen Peace Memorial Park, witnessing the precious peace after the war. This location is also the starting point for the Guningtou Battery Car tour.
