Kinmen Peace Memorial Park (Linzuo Artillery Position) Introduction
The Kinmen Peace Memorial Park is located at the site of the Battle of Guningtou, where the main battlefield took place. Along the park's pathways, various forms and sizes of bunkers can be seen nestled among the earth mounds. To commemorate General Hu Lien, who commanded the victory at the Battle of Guningtou, and the soldiers who participated in the battle, this area has been planned as the "Kinmen Peace Memorial Park." The park features the Hu Lien Memorial Hall and a Peace Bell made from artillery fragments. In 2011, the Peace Bell was simultaneously rung at the Volkspark Friedrichshain in Berlin and the Kinmen Peace Memorial Park, marking a rare witness to the peace after the war. ▪️ This location also serves as the starting point for the Guningtou Electric Car Tour.
