Shuangli Lake / Shuangli Wetland Center Introduction
From a high vantage point overlooking the lake surface, the shape of the lake resembles two fish embracing each other, which is how it got its name, Shuangli Lake. On sunny days, the gentle breeze creates ripples on the lake, and the reflection of ancient houses can be seen on the water, presenting a serene beauty unique to Kinmen. Shuangli Lake and Cihu are two major attractions favored by tourists, rich in ecology and home to flocks of waterbirds. A bird-watching trail has been specially established between the two lakes, allowing visitors to enjoy the lakeside scenery all at once.
