Luzaikang Squid Meat Soup Introduction
In 1983, the Hsu brothers established this restaurant based on their love and dedication to the traditional snacks of Lukang. They carefully select plump squid imported from Argentina, which are skinned to reduce fishy taste, resulting in a thick and crispy texture that is delicious. Fresh fish paste is combined with freshly slaughtered pork shoulder meat to create an exclusive pork soup, enhanced with fresh ingredients like crunchy bamboo shoots from Fenchihu, wood ear mushrooms, and squid. When served, a few pieces of fried pork are added on top, emitting a fragrant aroma. A steaming bowl of squid and pork soup is the restaurant's most popular signature snack and represents the most accessible traditional delicacy from Lukang.
