Luzih Harbor Squid Soup Introduction
Founded in 1983 by the Hsu brothers, who were passionate about the folk snacks of Lugang. The restaurant meticulously selects plump squid imported from Argentina, which are peeled to reduce any fishy taste, resulting in thick and crispy meat that is delicious to eat. The fresh fish paste is paired with exclusive pork shoulder made from freshly slaughtered pigs to create a one-of-a-kind meat soup. Complemented by fresh and high-quality ingredients such as crispy bamboo shoots from Fenchihu, wood ear mushrooms, and squid, it is cooked to perfection. When served, a few pieces of deep-fried meat are added on top, releasing an enticing aroma. A steaming bowl of squid meat soup is the restaurant's super popular signature snack and the most accessible traditional delicacy of Lugang.
