Chef Hong, who originally studied at "Taipei Yadu Pastry Bakery" and worked as a pastry chef at "Marco Polo Bakery" in Taipei, has been in the baking industry for twenty years. Missing everything from his hometown of Lukang while in a foreign land, he resolutely resigned from his job in Taipei to return to his hometown and be with his family.
