Ershui Bicycle Path Introduction
The Ershui Bicycle Path offers beautiful scenery along the way, with seasonal flowers such as cosmos, marigolds, and sunflowers swaying in the breeze beside the bike lane. You’ll also find old houses scattered across fields, vegetable and fruit orchards, and tranquil countryside views reminiscent of a painting. The route passes by attractions such as the Ershui Formosan Rock Macaque Nature Reserve, the source of the Babao Canal, and the Mr. Lin Temple. After a tiring ride, you can stop to rest. Enjoying sports, flower viewing, and historical visits is truly one of life's greatest pleasures! The Ershui Bicycle Path starts at Ershui Station and ends at Babao Canal Park, stretching approximately 7 kilometers. The entire route runs alongside the railway, and occasionally, you’ll have the unique experience of having a small train zipping past you. Additionally, you can enjoy the pastoral scenery along the way, much like viewing the landscape from a train window.
