Dengmiao Trail Introduction

Originally a commercial path connecting Ershui, Changhua and Mingjian, Nantou, it has now become a hiking trail linking the Shoutian Temple at Songbailing in Ershui Township, Changhua County. The trail is approximately 2 kilometers long and features a gently sloped shaded path, with the only steep section being the stairs at Molu Lane. Benches and pavilions are provided along the trail for public rest. It is an opportunity to encounter the Formosan macaque, which is a unique experience of this trail. Additionally, a 2-minute walk from the end of the trail leads to Shoutian Temple (which provides drinking water and public restrooms, subject to change due to pandemic restrictions). The surrounding area is filled with tea shops, making it very suitable for public leisure and hiking. Trail length: 2.01 kilometers. Walking time: 1 hour. Facilities: parking lot (for scooters, small cars, and buses), Fengbai Plaza, public restrooms, information boards, benches, and pavilions.

The two trails are gentle sloped tree-lined paths. The two trails are gentle sloped tree-lined paths.
