Temple Trail Introduction

Originally a commercial footpath connecting Ershui in Changhua and Mingjian in Nantou, it has now become a hiking trail linking Songbailing and Shoutian Temple in Ershui Township, Changhua County, with a total length of approximately 2 kilometers. The trail is a shaded path with a gentle slope, with only the section of Molu Lane featuring steep stairs. Along the trail, there are benches and pavilions for visitors to rest. One of the unique experiences on this trail is the opportunity to see Formosan macaques. Additionally, a 2-minute walk from the end of the trail leads to Shoutian Temple, which provides drinking water and public restrooms (availability may vary due to the pandemic). The area is surrounded by tea houses, making it an ideal spot for public leisure and hiking. Trail length: 2.01 kilometers. Walking time: 1 hour. Facility items: parking lot (for motorcycles, cars, and buses), Fengbai Square, public restrooms, information boards, benches, and pavilions.
