Temple Trail Introduction

The trail was originally a commercial pathway connecting Ershui in Changhua to Mingjian in Nantou. It has now become a hiking trail in Ershui Township, Changhua County, linking to Shoutian Temple at Songbailing. The trail is approximately 2 kilometers long and features a gentle slope throughout, with the exception of a steep staircase section on Moluyuxiang. Benches and pavilions are available along the trail for public rest. A unique experience on this trail is the opportunity to see Formosan macaques. Furthermore, a 2-minute walk from the end of the trail leads to Shoutian Temple (which provides drinking water and public restrooms, although availability may change due to pandemic restrictions). The area is surrounded by tea shops, making it very suitable for public leisure and hiking. Trail length: 2.01 kilometers. Walking time: 1 hour. Facilities include: parking lot (for motorcycles, small cars, and buses), Fengbo Plaza, public restrooms, information boards, benches, and pavilions.
