Dengmiao Trail Introduction
Originally a trade path between Ershui in Changhua County and Mingjian in Nantou, it has now transformed into a hiking trail connecting Songbailing and Shoutian Temple in Ershui Township, Changhua County, with a total length of approximately 2 kilometers. The trail features a gentle slope throughout, except for a steep staircase at the Molyu Lane section, and offers benches and pavilions for public rest. A unique experience along this trail is the opportunity to spot Formosan macaques. Additionally, a 2-minute walk from the end of the trail leads to Shoutian Temple, which provides drinking water and public restrooms (subject to change due to the pandemic). The nearby area is home to a concentration of tea shops, making it an excellent spot for leisure hiking. Trail length: 2.01 kilometers. Walking time: 1 hour. Facilities: Parking (motorcycles, cars, buses), Fengbai Square, public restrooms, information boards, benches, pavilions.
The entire trail features a gently sloping tree-lined path.
Three trails can be walked to connect to Shoutian Temple.
