Teng Miao Trail Introduction
Originally a commercial trail connecting Ershui in Changhua to Mingjian in Nantou, it has now become a hiking trail in Ershui Township, Changhua County, linking Songbailing and Shoutian Temple. The trail is approximately 2 kilometers long and features a gently sloping forest path, with only the section along Molai Lane being a steep staircase. Along the trail, there are seats and pavilions for visitors to rest. A unique feature of this trail is the opportunity to see Formosan macaques. Additionally, it is just a 2-minute walk from the end of the trail to Shoutian Temple, which provides drinking water and public restrooms (availability may vary due to the pandemic). The surrounding area is populated with tea shops, making it a perfect spot for public leisure hiking. Trail length: 2.01 kilometers. Walking time: 1 hour. Facilities: Parking (for motorcycles, cars, and buses), Fengbai Plaza, public restrooms, information boards, seats, and pavilions.
The entire trail is a gently sloping shaded forest path.
Three trails can be connected to Shoutian Temple by walking.
