Jia Yi Mulberry Introduction
Mr. Huang Zhengyuan from the Tsai-Matsu area has decided to cultivate mulberries, as they are a health-promoting food worth promoting. He insists on establishing an ecological environment in the plantation, laying down eco-friendly canvas and refraining from using chemical pesticides for pest and disease control (weeding and pest catching are done manually), employing natural organic fertilizers to promote the growth of fruit trees, and ensuring a clean environment and high-quality fruit. With technical support and guidance from the Miaoli Branch of the Agricultural Research and Extension Station of the Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan, he continuously researches and improves new varieties (Taiwanese native species, new varieties such as Black Diamond, etc.) and develops related products (mulberry enzyme, mulberry fruit acid enzyme, mulberry paste, frozen fresh mulberries, mulberry leaf gummies, mulberry soft candies, etc.). The mulberry plantation is located by the Beigang River in the Tsai-Matsu area, featuring a simple rural landscape and pastoral scenery, making it suitable for outdoor educational activities for schools and explanatory events for organizations. It offers introductions to tree species and their functions, seedling purchasing and planting promotion, as well as mulberry fruit picking. Everyone is welcome to give feedback and contact Mr. Huang Zhengyuan for reservations.
