Jia Yi Mulberry Introduction
Mr. Huang Zhengyuan from the Tsu-Matsuo area has decided to cultivate mulberries, as they are a health-enhancing food worth promoting. He is committed to an ecological approach, laying down eco-friendly tarpaulins, and avoiding chemical pesticides to manage pests and diseases (weeding by hand and insect catching). He uses natural organic fertilizers to promote the growth of fruit trees, ensuring both cleanliness and quality. With technical support and guidance from the Miaoli branch of the Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan, he continuously researches and improves new varieties (Taiwan native species, new varieties like 'Black Diamond', etc.) and develops related products (mulberry enzymes, mulberry fruit acid enzymes, mulberry paste, frozen fresh mulberries, mulberry leaf gummies, mulberry soft candies, etc.). This mulberry plantation is located by the Beigang River in Tsu-Matsuo, featuring simple rural scenery and pastoral landscapes. It is suitable for providing outdoor education for schools and interpretive activities for organizations. The plantation offers tree species and function introductions, seedling purchasing and planting promotion, and mulberry fruit picking. Everyone is welcome to contact Mr. Huang Zhengyuan for appointments and inquiries.
