Jia Yi Mulberry Introduction
In the Huang Zhengyuan area of our hometown, he has made the resolute decision to cultivate mulberries, as they are a health-promoting food worth promoting. The park follows an ecological approach by laying environmentally friendly tarps, avoiding the use of chemical pesticides for pest and disease control (weeding and insect catching are done manually), and using natural organic fertilizers to promote the growth of fruit trees, ensuring a clean environment and high-quality fruits. With technical support and guidance from the Miaoli branch of the Agriculture Improvement Office of the Council of Agriculture, continuous research and development of new varieties (Taiwanese native species and new varieties like Black Diamond) and related products (mulberry enzymes, mulberry fruit acid enzymes, mulberry syrup, frozen fresh mulberries, mulberry leaf candies, mulberry gummies, etc.) are ongoing. The mulberry garden is located by the Beigang River in our hometown, offering a simple rural landscape and idyllic scenery, making it suitable for outdoor teaching activities for schools and guided tours for organizations. It also provides tree species and function introductions, seedling purchasing, and planting promotion, as well as mulberry fruit picking. Everyone is welcome to provide feedback and contact Mr. Huang Zhengyuan for appointments.
