Located in the professional livestock zone of Kouhu Township, the Good Shrimp Regeneration Society, led by Li Fu-Zheng and composed of eight individuals born in the 1980s, has transformed an idle pig barn into an ideal kingdom for ecological shrimp farming. With a strong belief, love for their hometown, and a desire to bring change, they abandoned conventional farming methods to insist on producing safe and healthy good shrimp. Rising from past failures, they successfully cultivated a batch of good shrimp, which received much praise from gourmets, and the impressive pricing boosted their confidence in moving towards ecological farming methods. They hope to gather the passion and vitality of youth from this initiative, conveying the beauty of their hometown through good shrimp and promoting correct consumption practices. More importantly, they aim to learn how to coexist peacefully with nature and rediscover the fertile land of their hometown in their memories. Salt Worker Lunchbox: The Good Shrimp Salt Worker Lunchbox features locally farmed white shrimp that have production and marketing history, paired with seasonal side dishes. Using fresh and sweet white shrimp with a traceable origin, the side dishes vary with the seasons, including stir-fried cabbage or golden kimchi, sausage, shrimp crackers, and other locally sourced ingredients.
