The Kai-Tai Wen Wang Yeh Shui-Lin Tong Tian Temple is dedicated to Lord Wen, the deity of the temperature. It serves as the center of faith for the villages of Shui Bei and Shui Nan. Local ancestors passed down the tradition of coming to Taiwan for cultivation during the late Ming dynasty alongside Yan Siqi, and the worship of Lord Wen has a history of over 300 years. Every five years during the royal festival, the local community must invite the Five-Year King from Ma-Ming Mountain and Mazu from Bei Gang to participate in the procession.

Shuilin Tongtian Temple Introduction

Kaitai Wen Wang Ye Shui Lin Tong Tian Temple is dedicated to the worship of Wen Fu Qian Sui and serves as a religious center for the villages of Shui Bei and Shui Nan. Local ancestors passed down the tradition that they came to Taiwan for cultivation during the late Ming Dynasty under the leadership of Yan Siqi, and the reverence for Wen Wang Ye has a history of over 300 years. Every five years during the Wang Festival, the local community invites the 500-year-old deity from Ma Ming Mountain and the Mazu from Beigang to participate in the procession.
