The Kai-Tai Wen Wang Ye Shui-Lin Tong-Tian Temple is dedicated to Wen Fu Qian Sui and serves as the religious center for the villages of Shui Bei and Shui Nan. Local ancestors passed down the belief that during the late Ming Dynasty, they came to Taiwan for settlement with Yan Siqi, and Wen Wang Ye has a history of over three hundred years. Every five years, during the Wang Festival, the temple welcomes the participation of the Wu Nian Qian Sui from Ma Ming Mountain and Mazu from Beigang for the procession.

Shuilin Tongtian Temple Introduction

The Kai-Tai Wen Wang Ye Shui-Lin Tong Tian Temple is dedicated to the worship of Wen Fu Qian Sui. It serves as a center of faith for the two villages of Shui Bei and Shui Nan. Local ancestors are said to have come to Taiwan for reclamation during the late Ming Dynasty along with Yan Siqi, and the worship of Wen Wang Ye has a history of over three hundred years. Every five years, during the Wang Festival, the local community invites the Five-Year Qian Sui from Ma Ming Mountain and Mazu from Beigang to participate in the procession.
