The Kai-tai Wen Wang Ye Shui Lin Tong Tian Temple is dedicated to the deity Wen Fu Qian Sui and serves as the center of faith for the villages of Shui Bei and Shui Nan. The local ancestors are said to have come to Taiwan for reclamation during the late Ming dynasty alongside Yan Siqi, and the worship of Wen Wang Ye has a history of over three hundred years. Every five years during the Wang Festival, the local community invites the Wu Nian Qian Sui from Ma Ming Mountain and the Mazu from Beigang to participate in the procession.

Shuilin Tongtian Temple Introduction

The Kai-tai Wen Wang Yeh Shui Lin Tong Tian Temple is dedicated to the worship of Wen Fu Qian Sui and serves as a center of faith for the villages of Shui Bei and Shui Nan. It is said that the ancestors of this area came to Taiwan for reclamation during the late Ming Dynasty along with Yan Siqi, and Wen Wang Yeh has a history of over three hundred years. Every five years during the Wang Festival, local traditions involve inviting the Five-Year Qian Sui from Ma Ming Mountain and Mazu from Beigang to participate in the procession.
