Wenbi Bird Watching Area Introduction
Wendi is located by the Beigang River in Shuilin Township. This area is close to the estuary of the Beigang River, and the vast riverbed has rich food sources such as fish, shrimp, and shellfish, making it an ideal habitat for water birds. Dozens of bird species have been recorded in the Wendi wetlands, including Black-headed Gulls, Caspian Terns, Eurasian Curlews, Dunlins, Great Egrets, and Northern Shovelers. The birdwatching resources here are abundant, and relevant agencies are planning to designate this area as a birdwatching theme zone and a wetland ecological conservation area. Wendi, near the estuary of the Beigang River, is currently planning a bicycle path, and there are also painted patterns around the area. In the future, visitors can ride bikes or stroll here, enjoying the most relaxing leisure time.
