Numerous bird species have been recorded in the Wendi wetlands, including Black-headed Gull, Caspian Tern, Godwit, Sandpiper, Grey Heron, and Teal, among others, offering rich birdwatching resources. Relevant authorities are currently planning to develop this area into a bird-watching theme park and a wetland ecological conservation area. Wendi, close to the mouth of Beigang River, is also planning a bicycle path, and there are colorful murals nearby, making it a future place to ride or stroll while enjoying a relaxing and leisurely time.
