Renzihao Sakura Shrimp Introduction

In 1979, Ren Zih Hao originally started as a small vendor at the Donggang pier heading to Little Liuqiu. In the early days, they used a handcart to sell Donggang’s seafood products near the pier every day. Having relied on fishing for a living in the previous generation, they had a deep understanding of seafood handling. The family's traditional seafood processing methods and products became the hallmark and reputation of Ren Zih Hao. Among the founding products is the sakura shrimp, which is only found in Shizuoka, Japan, and Donggang, Taiwan. In the early days, the local Donggang was known as "Huake," and sakura shrimp grew at depths of 150 to 300 meters in unpolluted waters, resulting in sweet and nutritious meat rich in protein, calcium, phosphorus, chitin, chitosan, and astaxanthin, making it particularly valued by the Japanese.
