Renzihao Sakura Shrimp Introduction
In 1979, Renzihao originally started as a small vendor near the Donggang to Xiaoliuqiu ferry terminal. In the early days, they sold Donggang seafood processing products daily using a hand cart near the terminal. The previous generation relied on fishing for their livelihood, which gave them a deeper understanding of seafood handling. Their family recipes for seafood processing became the hallmark of Renzihao's products and reputation. Among Renzihao's founding products is the sakura shrimp, which is only found in Japan's Shizuoka and Donggang, Taiwan. In the early days, the local name for this shrimp in Donggang was "Huak shell," growing in deep sea waters between 150 to 300 meters, characterized by its uncontaminated, sweet, and tender flesh, rich in nutrients such as protein, calcium, phosphorus, chitin, chitosan, and astaxanthin, making it particularly valued by the Japanese.
