Renzihao Sakura Shrimp Introduction

In 1979, Renzihao originally started as a small vendor near the Donggang to Xiaoliuqiu pier. In the early days of the business, they sold Donggang’s seafood products using a handcart every day near the pier. With the previous generation relying on fishing for a living, they had a deeper understanding of seafood processing. The family’s traditional methods and products became the hallmark of Renzihao. Among the original products was the sakura shrimp, which is only found in Shizuoka, Japan, and Donggang, Taiwan. The sakura shrimp, locally referred to as "Huajia" in Donggang, grows in deep waters between 150 to 300 meters and is known for its fresh, sweet, and nutrient-rich meat, which is rich in protein, calcium, phosphorus, chitin, and astaxanthin, making it highly regarded by the Japanese.
