Renzihao Sakura Shrimp Introduction
In 1979, Renzihao originally started as a small vendor near the Donggang pier leading to Xiao Liuqiu. In the early days, they would push a cart daily to sell Donggang seafood products near the pier. Having relied on fishing for a living in the previous generation, they had a deep understanding of handling seafood. Their family’s traditional methods of seafood processing and products became the hallmark of Renzihao. One of Renzihao's founding products, the sakura shrimp, is only produced in Shizuoka, Japan, and Donggang, Taiwan. In the early days, Donggang was locally known for producing "huake," which grows in deep waters at depths ranging from 150 to 300 meters, providing clean and sweet meat that is rich in nutrients including protein, calcium, phosphorus, chitin, chitosan, and astaxanthin, making it highly regarded in Japan.
