Fish Auction Market Introduction
Donggang Fish Auction House is located within the Overseas Chinese Market and can be roughly divided into three areas: shrimp and crab auctions take place in the old market of the fishing association, while tuna and deep-sea trawler catches are auctioned in the new fishing association market. On the right side of the main entrance is a shorter dock, which serves as the auction area for local miscellaneous fish. The auctioning of fish involves fascinating techniques and methods; once a bid is won, a label is immediately affixed to the fish, followed by weighing, cleaning, loading onto trucks, and laying on crushed ice, showcasing the rich fishing culture of Donggang.
