Nandau Rice Field Introduction
A third-generation small farmer working in Guanshan Township, Taitung, focuses on the concept of self-production and self-marketing. He harvests Guanshan rice, which becomes fully mature in about 120 to 130 days, and uses his own methods of grain drying to preserve the natural "flavor" nurtured by over a hundred days of cultivation combined with sunlight and gentle breezes. Without undergoing intricate milling processes or excessive rice selection, he presents the sincerity of a farmer unassisted by others. Featured products include Guanshan thick-skinned honey rice, brown rice hand-stitched bags, Guanshan rice pudding, Jiashiang rice, and Yang Yang good rice.
