Established in 1982, Chien Feng Japanese Cuisine (next to Taipei Mackay Memorial Hospital) relocated in 1992 to Yu Feng Japanese Cuisine (Nanjing Street, Hualien City) and then to Yu Feng Japanese Diner (Xingang Street, Hualien City) in 1998, followed by another move to Yu Feng Japanese Diner (Fujian Street, Hualien City) in 2007. The chef has 30 years of experience in Japanese cuisine and offers characteristic homestyle dishes. The owner recommends signature pork cutlet rice bowl, hot pot udon, grilled eel rice, assorted sushi, and fresh sashimi from the port.
