Beibin Park Introduction

Beibin Park is located at the northern end of Hualien Bay, adjacent to the vast Pacific Ocean. It's a great place for Hualien residents to enjoy scenic views during the morning and evening, as well as for leisure activities on weekends. The park features beach volleyball courts, extreme sports areas, and skateboarding venues that are popular with young people; on holidays, you can often see many youths engaging in intense competitions here. A row of wooden pavilions facing the sea serves as a gathering spot for the elderly, where friends often enjoy picnics and conversations. Children are particularly interested in the parent-child water play area, and during summer evenings, they play in the sand at the beach volleyball court before splashing in the water area for some refreshing fun. The waterfront bicycle path stretches 15 kilometers along the coastline, heading north to the endpoint at Qixingtan, allowing cyclists to enjoy Hualien's beautiful mountain and water scenery, making it a favorite among cycling enthusiasts. For those looking for a physical challenge, you can ride south to Liyu Lake, a total distance of 35.3 kilometers. During weekends, the sky at Beibin Park is lively, with children flying kites and adults playing with remote-controlled planes, attracting the attention of tourists. The sea is also bustling with sails as various sailboats glide across the water. Early in the morning, around four or five o'clock, locals come to Beibin Park to exercise, while early-rising tourists come to witness Taiwan's first rays of dawn. In the evening, it's a perfect spot to quietly stand and watch the moon rise from the horizon. Different times of day, yet the same beauty and emotional resonance.
