Pacific Park Introduction

Pacific Park includes the South and North Coastlines. The South Coast Park was previously home to the Hualien Night Market for 28 years, which accompanied the local residents and visitors. After the vendors relocated, the area underwent renovations and now meets tourists in a brand-new appearance. The South and North Coastlines were once private spots for locals to enjoy the sea. After the renovation, in addition to increased greenery, the artificial reefs that previously hindered coastal erosion were removed and replaced with natural techniques using large stones to form natural embankments, giving the coastline a more international scenic quality. Several green spaces connect to the South Coast Park, adorned with aboriginal-style pavilions and decorations, and the bike path runs along the coastline. Although the North Coast Park does not have as large an area as the South Coast Park, its planned beach volleyball courts are a favorite among young people. The South and North Coast Parks can be connected as a short bike tour route, creating a beautiful coastal view for Hualien City. Activities at Pacific Landscape Park are bustling both day and night. During the day, you can ride bicycles, enjoy the sea, and take walks; at night, the focus shifts to dining, listening to the waves, and stargazing. Pacific Landscape Park has transformed the park into a recreational area, restoring natural landscapes and coastal vegetation, while also providing a children's puppet theater, street performers, aboriginal dance performances, and venues for Amis cultural festivals. During holidays, markets will feature the sale of agricultural products, as well as activities that highlight quality lifestyle industries and green technology in the cultural and creative sectors.
