Nanbin Park Introduction

Nanbin Park is located by the Pacific Ocean, covering an area of over 20 hectares. The park features small bridges and streams, pavilions, and various sculptures of marine life scattered across the grass. Facilities within the park include a circular square, a white dove feeding area, viewing telescopes, a rock garden area, a coconut garden, and a children's playground. On clear and sunny holidays, parasailing and kites often soar in the sky, while people stroll along the coastal path and in pavilions, enjoying the sea, along with young people playing in the water, making Nanbin Park lively and colorful. This park is also the starting point of the coastal bike path, which stretches all the way to Qixingtan, providing the best travel route to appreciate the scenic coastal views of Hualien. At night, Nanbin Park transforms into the beloved Nanbin Night Market for children, where "the fun is at Nanbin Night Market, and for good food, head to Ziqiang Night Market." The night market can get quite lively, featuring childhood games such as dart throwing, ring tossing, goldfish scooping, turtle fishing, basketball shooting, water balloon shooting, and pinball machines; in addition to the amusements, there are various delicious snacks, including affordable beef steaks, oyster omelets, hot pot, and peanut ice cream rolls for 90 NT dollars each.
