Nanshan Park Introduction

Nanshan Park is situated by the Pacific Ocean, covering an area of over 20 hectares. The park features small bridges, flowing water, pavilions, and numerous sculptures of marine life scattered across its grassy areas. Facilities in the park include a circular square, a dove feeding area, observation telescopes, a rockery area, a coconut grove, and a children's playground. On clear and sunny holidays, paragliding and kites frequently soar in the sky, while people stroll along the coastal walkway and in pavilions, enjoying the sea view. Youngsters can be seen playing in the water by the beach, making Nanshan Park a lively and vibrant place. It also serves as the starting point for the coastal bike path that extends all the way to Qixing Lake, offering the best travel route for appreciating Hualien's seaside scenery. In the evening, Nanshan Park transforms into the beloved Nanshan Night Market for children. "For fun, go to Nanshan Night Market; for tasty food, visit Zi Qiang Night Market." The night here can be quite bustling, with all kinds of childhood games like darts, ring toss, goldfish catching, turtle fishing, basketball shooting, water shooting, and pinball. Besides the games, there are various delicious snacks available, such as inexpensive beef steaks, oyster omelets, hot pot, and peanut ice cream rolls, each costing around 90 NTD. Nanshan Park and the night market can be considered a playground that captivates both adults and children!
