Nanbin Park Introduction

Nanbin Park lies along the Pacific Ocean and covers an area of more than 20 hectares. The park features small bridges, flowing water, pavilions, and numerous statues of marine life scattered throughout the grassy areas. The facilities in the park include a circular plaza, a dove feeding area, telescopes for viewing, a rock garden area, a coconut grove, and a children's playground. On clear and sunny holidays, parasails and kites often soar into the sky, while people stroll along the coastal trail and in the pavilions to enjoy the sea views. Young people play by the water, adding a lively and colorful atmosphere to Nanbin Park. This park is also the starting point of the coastal bicycle path that stretches all the way to Qixingtan, making it the best route to appreciate the scenic coastal beauty of Hualien. In the evening, Nanbin Park transforms into the beloved Nanbin Night Market for children, where one can find all sorts of fun: “For fun, go to Nanbin Night Market; for delicious food, head to Ziqiang Night Market.” The night market comes alive with activities from childhood, such as dart throwing, ring toss, goldfish scooping, turtle fishing, basketball shooting, water balloon throwing, and pinball games. In addition to the entertainment, a variety of delicious snacks is available, including affordable steak, oyster omelets, hot pot, and peanut ice cream rolls, all at around 90 NTD per serving. Nanbin Park and the night market can be truly described as an amusement park that fascinates both adults and kids!
