Kuo Spring Roll Introduction

Located near the Cheng Huang Temple, there is a well-established place called "Guo Runbing Shop." The Guo Runbing was originally located next to a meatball stall at the Hsinchu Cheng Huang Temple and has been a hundred-year-old shop in the area. It was established 15 years before the end of the Qing Dynasty by Mr. Zhuang Qishi and is currently run by the fifth generation. Modern diners prefer vegetable fillings in their runbing, moving away from the heavy taste of meat. In response, the owner has made some adjustments to the ingredients. The fillings include dried tofu, herbs, egg crepes, pork floss, peanut powder, dried radish, chives, cabbage, and bean sprouts. The runbing skin is fragrant and chewy, without excess flour lumps. The egg crepe is made from flour and eggs, while the braised vegetables are made with cabbage and carrots, which enhance the natural sweetness of the vegetables in the runbing. The shop continues to maintain its original production method and characteristics, sincerely striving to create delicious runbing, quickly gaining popularity among local residents and fast-food lovers. This is the main reason for its fame far and wide.
