Hsinchu Chenghuang Temple Introduction
Hsinchu Guandi Temple was established in 1776. The columns of the walkway in the San Chuan Hall do not use the typical dragon pillars seen in most temples, and the dragon and tiger barricades on both sides are not overly decorated. The door nails of the San Chuan Hall appear more solemn and dignified. The couplets on the temple's columns are mostly composed by well-known locals from Hsinchu, showcasing a strong local character.
