Hsinchu Guandi Temple Introduction
The Hsinchu Guandi Temple was established in 1776. The columns of the corridor at the SanChuan Hall do not feature the typical dragon columns seen in most temples, and the dragon and tiger decorations on both sides are not overly ornate. The door nails of the SanChuan Hall appear more solemn and dignified. The couplets on the columns in the temple are often inscribed by notable locals from Hsinchu, showcasing a strong local character.
