Cheng-Jia Rice Dumpling King was established three years before the founding of the Republic of China and is now run by the third-generation owner, Yang Chao-Hui. In 1985, the store moved to No. 81, Section 2, Jhenguo Road. In 2005, in response to the requests of the large food-loving community, a branch was opened at No. 49, Beimen Old Street, near the Chenghuang Temple.
