Chengjia Meat Rice Dumplings King was established three years before the Republic of China era, and it is now run by the third-generation owner, Yang Chaohui. In 1985, the restaurant relocated to No. 81, Section 2, Jinguo Road. In 2005, in response to requests from a large food-loving community, the first branch was opened at No. 49, Beimen Old Street, near Chenghuang Temple.
