Warm Belly Introduction
In Taipei, there is a popular Japanese restaurant called "Manzhe Die" that has been thriving for eight years, but in Chiayi, there is also a brunch spot known as "Manzhe Niang," though its official name is "Warm the Belly." The owner, who comes from a culinary background, loves to cook and eat, and hoped to open a restaurant to fulfill her dreams. However, her family thought starting a business was too risky and did not support her. Stubbornly, she opened "Warm the Belly Café" in 2014 without informing her family. This was one of the earliest all-day brunch restaurants in Chiayi City. Rather than focusing on trendy interior design, she believes in keeping it clean and natural, and she does not set a specific target audience. The owner stated, "I just want to make what I like to eat, and if customers happen to enjoy it as well, that would be wonderful." The cost of their toast is four to five times that of regular commercial products, and they were also pioneers in using hydroponic lettuce from Dalin. By concentrating on satisfying their customers with quality food instead of flashy marketing, "Warm the Belly" has maintained its popularity over the past eight years. It is highly recommended by many locals as a top brunch spot in Chiayi. According to Google reviews, the "Maple Syrup Fried Chicken French Toast" is a classic favorite among regular customers and often sells out before noon, so be sure to get there early if you want to try it.
