Warm Belly Introduction

After 8 years of popularity, the all-day brunch spot in Chiayi has a counterpart in Taipei called "Manzhe Die" Japanese cuisine, but Chiayi has its own "Manzhe Niang" brunch, officially known as "Warm Belly." The owner, who has a background in culinary arts, loves to cook and eat, and hopes to achieve her dream of opening a restaurant, but her family considers entrepreneurship too risky and does not support her. Stubborn as she is, in 2014, she opened "Warm Belly Coffee" behind her family's back, making it one of the earliest all-day brunch places in Chiayi City. The focus is not on trendy space design, but rather on being clean and natural. There is no specific target audience; the owner states, "I just want to make what I like to eat, and if customers happen to like it too, that’s great." The cost of the toast is 4 to 5 times that of regular commercial bread, and even the seasonal vegetables are ahead of the trend, using hydroponic lettuce sourced from Dalin. By focusing on satisfying customers with quality dishes instead of flashy marketing, Warm Belly has maintained its popularity over 8 years and is highly recommended by many locals as a top brunch spot in Chiayi. According to Google reviews, the "Maple Syrup Fried Chicken French Toast" has become a classic choice for many regulars, often selling out before noon, so come early if you want to try it.
