Dongsheng Pork Shop, located next to Xinglong Elementary School in Tongluo Mountain City, Miaoli, was established 18 years before the Republic of China era. It specializes in fresh black pork and the production of cured pork, sausages, and scallion oil. These products were essential foods for the frugal Hakka lifestyle during difficult times. In collaboration with the Hsinchu County Farmers' Association, the shop has transformed traditional Hakka delicacies passed down through four generations into nostalgic dishes that cater to modern urban tastes.
