The local favorite "Hong Mian Xian," which has been in business for 15 years, boldly proclaims, "If you live in Shulin and haven’t tried this, it’s a waste to come to Shulin without eating here." Their noodles are thick yet not greasy, and the owner mentions that this wide rice noodle doesn't easily break down even after long cooking. The braised intestines, treated beforehand, are aromatic, chewy, and tender, with no unpleasant taste of pork offal. Additionally, their unique sweet and spicy sauce, known for its popularity, makes it one of the well-loved snacks in Shulin.
