Qinglong Ridge Introduction
Located on the northwest ridge of Datong Mountain, on the way to the peak, layers of green mountains can be seen, along with a sculpture of a blue dragon, which resembles a sleeping dragon in repose, thus named Qingsong Ridge. The Datong Mountain Hiking Trail starts from Da'an Road and ends at Qingsong Ridge. After passing through Datong Mountain at mid-slope, it connects to the Qingsong Ridge Hiking Trail, with a total length of 2 kilometers. Today, Qingsong Ridge has been developed into a forest park. It is recommended that hikers visit the triangulation point at the top, where you can enjoy beautiful views overlooking the entire forest area. If you want to see the night scenery, this is also a great choice. Facilities include picnic and resting areas for hikers, and there is a blue dragon statue made of stacked stones, reportedly constructed over several years by an elderly gentleman, which has become a symbolic feature of Qingsong Ridge.
