Qinglong Ridge Introduction
Located on the northwest ridge of Datong Mountain, on the way to the peak, layers of greenery can be seen along the trail, and a sculpture of a green dragon resembling a sleeping dragon is visible, hence the name "Qinglong Ridge." The Datong Mountain hiking trail begins on Daan Road and ends at Qinglong Ridge, stretching a total of 2 kilometers. Today, Qinglong Ridge has been established as a forest park, and hikers are recommended to reach the triangulation station at the top for a beautiful view of the surrounding forest area. This spot is also a great choice for enjoying night views. Facilities include picnic and resting areas for hikers, as well as a green dragon sculpture made of stacked stones, which is said to have been built over several years by an elderly man and has become a distinctive symbol of Qinglong Ridge.
