Qinglong Ridge Introduction
Located on the northwest ridge of Datong Mountain, on the way to the peak, the lush layers of green reveal a sculpture of a blue dragon, resembling a sleeping dragon. Thus, it is named Qinglong Ridge. The hiking trail to Datong Mountain starts from Daan Road and ends at Qinglong Ridge. The trail, which is 2 kilometers long, passes by Datong Mountain halfway and connects to the Qinglong Ridge hiking trail. Qinglong Ridge has been developed into a forest park, and it is recommended for hikers to reach the triangulation point to enjoy the beautiful view overlooking the entire forest area. It is also a great spot for enjoying night scenery. The facilities include areas for picnicking and resting, as well as a sculpture of a blue dragon made of stacked stones, which is said to have been built by an elderly man over several years and has become a symbolic feature of Qinglong Ridge.
