Qinglong Ridge Introduction
Located on the northwest ridge of Datong Mountain, the route to the summit offers layers of lush greenery, and along the way, one can see a sculpture of a Qinglong (Azure Dragon) that resembles a dragon lying down, hence the name Qinglong Ridge. The trail to Datong Mountain starts from Daan Road and ends at Qinglong Ridge, with a total length of 2 kilometers. Today, Qinglong Ridge has been developed into a forest park. It is recommended for hikers to ascend to the triangulation station to enjoy the beautiful view and the overall landscape of the wooded area. If you're looking for a night view, this spot is also a great choice. The facilities include areas for picnicking and resting, along with a Qinglong sculpture made of stacked stones, which is said to have been built by an elderly man over several years and has become a symbolic feature of Qinglong Ridge.
