Qinglong Ridge Introduction
Located on the northwest ridge of Datong Mountain, on the way to the peak, the landscape is lush with layers of green hills, where a dragon sculpture resembling a sleeping dragon can be seen, hence it is named Qinglong Ridge. The Datong Mountain hiking trail begins on Daan Road and ends at Qinglong Ridge. The trail spans about 2 kilometers, passing through Datong Mountain before connecting to the Qinglong Ridge hiking trail. Today, Qinglong Ridge has been developed into a forest park. It is recommended for hikers to reach the triangulation point, where the view from the top is beautiful, providing a complete view of the forest area. If you wish to see the night scenery, this is also a great location. The facility plan includes areas for picnicking and resting, along with a dragon sculpture made of stacked stones, which is said to have been built over several years by an elderly man, becoming a distinctive symbol of Qinglong Ridge.
