Nanmen Street, also known as "Cake Street," is home to numerous time-honored cake shops and is surrounded by bridal shops and antique stores, making it a popular choice for purchasing wedding items following traditional customs. In a short stretch of less than a hundred meters, there are over ten familiar cake shops, ranging from traditional shops with a long history to well-known national chain stores, featuring a variety of pastries including wedding cakes, gift cakes, and full moon cakes, among others. Walking down the street, one can smell the rich aromas wafting from all directions, and browsing the shop windows provides insight into the current popular flavors and packaging of gift cakes, which makes it one of the unique streets in Banqiao.
