Chuan Xiang Douhua Introduction
Located next to Cihui Temple in Banqiao, Quanxiang Douhua has become one of the most well-known dessert stalls in the Fuzhong business district over the past 20 years, thanks to its fragrant, tender, and subtly egg-flavored pudding douhua. The preparation of Quanxiang's douhua is quite intricate, using non-GMO yellow soybeans that are ground and cooked into a delicious douhua with a smooth, aromatic, and delicate texture, leaving a long-lasting aftertaste with each bite. In addition to the tasty douhua, all the toppings here are delicious accompaniments slowly simmered by the owner. Traditional toppings include tapioca balls, QQ balls, red beans, flower beans, grass jelly, aiyu, oats, taro, taro balls, glutinous rice balls, and sweet potatoes, all drizzled with a specially crafted lightly sweet syrup over the douhua.
