Quanxiang Douhua Introduction
Located next to Cihui Temple in Banqiao, Quanxiang Tofu Pudding has become one of the well-known dessert stalls in the Fuzhong business district for over twenty years, offering rich, fresh, and subtly egg-flavored pudding tofu pudding. The preparation of Quanxiang's tofu pudding is quite intricate; they use non-GMO yellow soybeans, which are ground and cooked into fragrant tofu pudding with a smooth, aromatic, and delicate texture that leaves a lingering aftertaste with each bite. In addition to the delicious tofu pudding, all the toppings here are delicious accompaniments slowly simmered by the owner. Traditional ingredients like tapioca balls, QQ balls, red beans, flower beans, grass jelly, aiyu jelly, oats, taro, taro balls, glutinous rice balls, and sweet potatoes are added to the tofu pudding and drizzled with a specially made syrup that is not overly sweet. In the hot summer, having a bowl in hand is irresistibly tempting. During winter, Quanxiang also offers red bean soup, peanut soup, and coix seed soup, which are highly recommended by customers. The smooth, aromatic, and delicate Quanxiang Tofu Pudding is a cherished dessert memory for many people in Banqiao after a meal.
