Yunyi Workshop Introduction
Teacher Peng Yufeng has been actively promoting weaving skills since the establishment of her workshop. She is one of the four weaving seed teachers in the Wulai area. In addition to teaching the community, she has also been long-term teaching weaving skills in the junior high school department of Wulai National Primary and Secondary School, as she considers the inheritance of Atayal weaving art her most important mission. Teacher Peng Yufeng's Atayal name is "Sayun," and the workshop is named "Yunyi," which means the weaving art of Sayun. Teacher Peng Yufeng said that in the past, weaving was an essential life skill, but now, as it's no longer necessary to weave for oneself, there are fewer people willing to teach and willing to weave.
