Yunyi Workshop Introduction
Teacher Peng Yufeng has been diligently promoting weaving skills since the establishment of her workshop. She is one of the four weaving seed teachers in the Wulai area. In addition to teaching community members, she has also been teaching weaving skills in the junior high section of Wulai National Primary and Junior High School for a long time, as she considers the inheritance of Atayal weaving arts her most important mission. Teacher Peng Yufeng's Atayal name is "Sa Yun," which is why the workshop is named "Yun Yi," meaning the artistic weaving of Sa Yun. Teacher Peng Yufeng stated that in the past, weaving was an essential life skill, but now, since it is no longer necessary to weave for themselves, there are fewer people willing to teach and to weave.
