Yuni Art Workshop Introduction
Teacher Peng Yufeng has been working hard to promote weaving techniques since the establishment of her workshop. She is one of four weaving seed teachers in the Wulai area. In addition to teaching the community, she has also been teaching weaving skills at the junior high school level of Wulai National Primary and Junior High School for a long time, as she considers passing on the craftsmanship of the Atayal weaving as her most important mission. Teacher Peng Yufeng's Atayal name is "Sayun," which is why the workshop is named "Yunyi," meaning the weaving art of Sayun. Teacher Peng Yufeng said that in the past, weaving was a necessary life skill, but now, as it is no longer essential to weave for oneself, there are fewer people willing to teach or weave.
