Wulai Visitor Center Introduction
Wulai is a famous mountain township in northern Taiwan, located within a water source protection area. The majority of the residents are of the Atayal tribe. It is situated at the confluence of the Nanshi River and the Tonghou River, with towering peaks on both sides and winding streams, creating spectacular mountain and water scenery. The area is known for its hot springs, gondola, waterfalls, and Yunshan Paradise. The name "Wulai" is said to originate from the Atayal language, meaning "hot spring," which contributes to the area's renowned hot springs, characterized by weakly alkaline carbonated water that is clear and transparent. The visitor center is a three-story building located at the entrance of Wulai's multi-story parking lot and Wulai Old Street, serving as the first stop for tourists arriving at the Wulai Scenic Area. For more information about traveling in Wulai, visitors can access complete information through brochures available in the center and the on-site staff. Additionally, the second floor of the visitor center provides tables and chairs for tourists to rest.
