Wu Gu Tea Grain SIIDCHA Introduction
Hakka proverb: "Three bowls of lei tea every day, guarantee you will live to ninety-eight." To inherit Hakka lei tea culture, the founder of Wu Gu Tea and Grain traveled through Hakka villages across Taiwan, demonstrating an indomitable research spirit in the laboratory by grinding tea leaves into ultra-fine tea powder for a new method of enjoying tea, known as "food tea." This innovative approach introduces modern elements to the traditional Hakka hospitality of serving guests lei tea, with over twenty types of grains creating diverse flavors. The aim is to convey the pure taste of natural grains, focusing on health and wellness. The shop is located at the bottom of Jishan Street, in a minimalist and stylish building facing the sea. The understated and elegant design allows visitors to enjoy the view while reflecting peacefully; here, you can savor a variety of natural and health-promoting lei tea, matcha steamed green tea, multi-grain beverages, and souvenirs. A visit to Jiufen Old Street is not complete without stopping by Wu Gu Tea and Grain (Jiufen Tea House) to taste the authentic flavors grounded in nature.
