Taichung Foods

Jinghua Yanyun is a themed restaurant named after the renowned work of Master Lin Yutang. The owner, Ms. Luo Youzhu, who specializes in interior design, has positioned the restaurant's style to reflect the impressions of northern Chinese mansions from the 1930s and 1940s. Before its construction, she even traveled to Beijing for inspiration, incorporating features from the residences of poets and prominent figures in politics and business, making every corner of Jinghua Yanyun infused with the elegant atmosphere of literary circles in the capital. It is one of the few dining spaces in Taichung that prominently showcases original literary works. From the four characters "Jinghua Yanyun," the couplets, placemats, and murals, to the intricately arranged paintings and light fixtures of various heights, all creations are by the renowned artistic family in central Taiwan, Mr. Ke Yaodong and his wife, Teacher Guo Jiegui. Additionally, the red envelope-shaped entrance has become a popular spot for couples to take wedding photos and snapshots in the Art District.
