Yeyan Japanese Charcoal Grilled Meat was established in June 2002 and is managed by Huada Management Co., Ltd. It was founded in Banqiao by two individuals from the Class of '65 after observing the dining ecosystem in Taiwan. By the end of 2003, Yeyan rapidly expanded across the country. The key to Yeyan's swift expansion lies in standardizing every step, allowing franchisees with no prior experience to quickly get on track, recoup costs, and generate profits under the guidance of the headquarters. The success of Yeyan is also attributed to its unique flavors; the Yeyan team traveled all the way to Japan to learn and seek traditional Japanese barbecue sauces, which they then blended back in Taiwan.
