Yeyan Japanese Charcoal Grill was established in June 2002 and is managed by Huada Management Consulting Co., Ltd. Founded by two individuals born in the 1970s after observing the Taiwanese dining ecosystem, Yeyan Japanese Charcoal Grill opened its first location in Banqiao. By the end of 2003, Yeyan rapidly expanded throughout the province. The reason for Yeyan's swift expansion lies in the standardization of each step, allowing franchisees with no prior experience to quickly get on track, recoup costs, and gain profits under the guidance of the headquarters. The key to Yeyan's success also lies in its unique flavors; the Yeyan team even traveled to Japan to study and seek traditional Japanese barbecue sauces, which they then blended upon returning to Taiwan.
