Yaean Japanese Charcoal Grill, established in June 2002 and managed by Huada Management Co., Ltd., was founded by two entrepreneurs from the class of '65 after observing the dining landscape in Taiwan. The restaurant was first opened in Banqiao and rapidly expanded throughout the country by the end of 2003. The reason for Yaean's swift expansion is the standardization of each step, allowing franchisees without any related experience to quickly get on track, recover costs, and make profits under the guidance of the headquarters. The key to Yaean's success also lies in its unique flavors; the team has traveled to Japan to seek traditional barbecue sauces, which they then adjust and recreate in Taiwan.
