Yang Cheng Snack Shop Introduction
Yang Cheng has been in Tainan for over sixty years, located in an alley on Zhongzheng Road, specializing in Cantonese cuisine. It is well-known for dishes like sweet and sour spareribs, mapo tofu, crispy duck with taro, stir-fried beef with scallions, cashew shrimp, and the signature oil chicken, which is so delicious it will linger in your memory. Especially the oil chicken, prepared using a special cooking technique that leaves the meat slightly red at the bone; don't worry, this is authentic oil chicken. It is made by a method of half-poaching and half-braising, which brings out the chicken's fresh sweetness. Our oil chicken is tender even in the breast meat and is not greasy to the point of being unappetizing. We welcome more people to come and taste the wonderful flavors of our old restaurant.
