Zhang's Farm Introduction
Director Chang Chen-Chung, driven by a passion and appreciation for the land, persisted in establishing a development of refined, toxin-free agricultural practices despite his parents' opposition. He has been awarded the Demonstration Farmer and Model Farmer titles by the Tainan County Government, as well as the Shennong Award by the Xinshi Township Office. Since 1998, he has implemented integrated farming and turned this place into an experimental farm. The farm offers a "Farmers' Adoption Activity," allowing everyone to become the owner of a farm, where they can experience planting, fruit picking, baking, and brewing their own rich coffee. Visitors can also enjoy coffee in the fields and relish the leisurely aroma of the countryside. Everyone is welcome to come and share in the joy of witnessing the growth and changes in the farm! Special agricultural products include Xinshi White Wax Apple Tea and Xinshi Flatland Coffee. Handmade delicacies include coffee cakes, chocolate coffee beans, coffee bean dried snacks, coffee iron eggs, white wax apple tea jelly, coffee jelly, and more. For a taste of tradition, they serve Xinshi's classic rice made from freshly harvested rice.
