Zhang's Farm Introduction
Zhang Zhenzhong, the head of the farm, adheres to a love and appreciation for the land, persistently pursuing the development of refined agriculture and non-toxic farming despite his parents' opposition. He has been awarded the Demonstration Farmer and Model Farmer recognition from the Tainan County Government, as well as the Shennong Award from the Xinshi Township Office. Since 1998, he has begun practicing mixed farming, establishing this land as an experimental farm. He opened the "Affirming Farmers' Adoption Program," allowing everyone to become a farm owner, experiencing the process of planting, fruit picking, baking, and personally brewing a rich cup of coffee. Visitors can also enjoy coffee in the middle of the fields, reveling in the leisurely ambiance of the rural landscape. Everyone is welcome to share in the joy of witnessing the growth and changes within the garden! Agricultural specialty products include Xinshi white wax apple tea and Xinshi flatland coffee. Handcrafted delicacies include coffee cakes, chocolate-covered coffee beans, coffee bean crunch, coffee iron eggs, white wax apple tea jelly, and coffee jelly. Specialty meals feature traditional Xinshi-style cut rice dishes.
