Zhang's Farm Introduction
Zhang Zhenzhong, the head of the farm, is passionate about and cherishes the land. He disregarded his parents' opposition and insisted on developing a refined organic farming system (he has been awarded the Demonstration Farmer and Model Farmer by the Tainan County Government, as well as the Shennong Award by the Xinshi Township Office). Since 1998, he has started mixed farming, using this place as an experimental farm. The farm opens the "Support Farmers' Sponsorship Program," allowing everyone to become a farm owner and experience planting, fruit picking, baking, and even brewing a cup of rich coffee with their own hands. Visitors can also enjoy "drinking coffee in the fields" and relish the leisurely pleasure of the fragrant countryside. Everyone is welcome to share in the joy of observing the growth and changes within the farm! Agricultural products include: Xinshi wax apple tea and Xinshi flatland coffee. Handmade delicacies include coffee cake, chocolate-covered coffee beans, coffee bean snacks, coffee iron eggs, wax apple tea jelly, and coffee jelly. Specialty dishes include traditional Xinshi rice with cut rice.
