Fenchifu The Pure is a well-known rice food restaurant in Chiayi. Apart from turkey rice, it is likely that the Fenchihu bento is the next famous dish! Recently, there’s a "very Chiayi" option, the Chiayi limited edition "Fenchifu Pork Rib Bento Flavor" launched by Guai Guai. This is made with rice sourced from the local "Tai-Nong No. 82" variety cultivated in Chiayi City, making this a perfect souvenir that clearly represents Chiayi. With the aim of promoting Taiwanese rice, Fenchifu proudly offers "simple and additive-free rice cakes suitable for everyone from 0 to 99 years old." Established in 2013 from the old street in Fenchihu, it expanded to the Huai Yi Forest Village in 2018, and in 2022, the "Fenchifu Rice Cake Happiness Concept Store" was set up to completely showcase the process of rice from farm to table, aspiring to be the most interesting rice cake store in Taiwan. Inside, you can purchase their signature rice cakes, golden rice bricks, as well as the rare Chiayi "Happiness No. 82" rice.
