Fenchifu The Pure is a renowned rice-based food establishment in Chiayi. Aside from turkey rice, another must-try is the Fenchihu bento! Recently, there’s a "very Chiayi" option, which is the limited edition "Fenchifu Pork Bento Flavor" launched by the snack brand Kuaikua. This item is made with rice cultivated from Chiayi City’s local "TaiNong No. 82" variety. Purchasing this as a souvenir clearly indicates it comes from Chiayi. Fenchifu, which promotes Taiwanese rice, prides itself on offering “pure and additive-free rice cakes suitable for ages 0 to 99.” It started operations in 2013 on Fenchihu Old Street, expanded to the Huaiyi Living Village in 2018, and established the "Fenchifu Rice Cake Happiness Concept Store" in 2022, presenting the complete journey of rice from field to table and aspiring to be the most interesting rice cake shop in Taiwan. Located at 153 Siwei Road, West District, Chiayi City, Fenchifu The Pure features a clean and bright style, welcoming influencers and families for visits and photos. In addition to the signature rice cakes and golden rice bricks, the store also offers the relatively rare "Happiness 82" rice from Chiayi City. There are also rice cake machines set up for visitors to relive the nostalgic experience of watching popcorn being made.
