Fenchifu The Pure, a well-known rice food restaurant in Chiayi, offers not only turkey rice but also the famous Fenqihu bento! Recently, they launched a "Very Chiayi" option, the Chiayi-exclusive "Fenchifu Pork Bento Flavor" made from locally grown "Tai-Nong No. 82" rice. This makes for an obvious souvenir from Chiayi. Fenchifu promotes Taiwanese rice, emphasizing "pure and additive-free rice cakes suitable for ages 0 to 99." Established in 2013 in Fenqihu Old Street, they expanded to Kuaiyi Village in 2018 and set up the "Fenchifu Rice Cake Happiness Concept Store" in 2022, showcasing the journey of rice from farm to table, with the ambition of being the most interesting rice cake shop in Taiwan. Located at No. 153, Siwei Road, West District, Chiayi City, Fenchifu features a clean and bright style, welcoming influencers and families to visit and take photos. In addition to their signature rice cakes and golden rice bricks, they also offer the limited Chiayi-grown "Happiness No. 82" rice. The store has a rice cake machine that allows visitors to relive the nostalgic experience of watching popcorn being made.
