Founded in 1962, it is currently run by the second generation, Huang Huijuan. The name "Hu'er" comes from the childhood nickname of the first-generation owner, Huang Maoyan: it is said that during his crawling age, he resembled a lively little tiger. As he grew up, he became both intelligent and courageous, and most people affectionately called him "Tiger Grandpa." Later, when he started the oil rice business, it was a fitting name. As the saying goes, "So delicious it's worth returning," combined with such a unique name, it has attracted both locals and visitors to flock to the restaurant.
