From market to restaurant, "Four Flavors" leaves a lasting impression. Near Meishan Park in Meishan Township, Chiayi County, there is a forty-year-old establishment — Four Flavors Snack. Their mushroom meat thick soup and pork rib rice may seem ordinary, but they have a distinctly different flavor. The pork chunks in the mushroom meat thick soup are made from pure meat; the fried pork ribs have a tender pink appearance and a unique aroma. The owner, Li Shen Hsiu-Tzu, smiles as she shares that the red yeast rice used makes the fried dish look better, and it even carries a slight hint of wine fragrance! From selling Four Flavors juice to now, although the items sold have changed, the owner's dedication to caring for customers has remained consistent for forty years.
