From market to restaurant, "Siwei" leaves a lasting impression. Near Meishan Park in Meishan Township, Chiayi County, there is a 40-year-old establishment—Siwei Snack. Their mushroom meat soup and pork rib rice may seem ordinary, but they have a very distinct flavor. The pork chunks in the mushroom meat soup are made from pure meat; the fried ribs have a tender pink exterior and are even more fragrant. The owner, Li Shen-Xiuzi, smiles and says that the use of red yeast rice makes the ribs look better after frying and gives them a hint of wine aroma! From selling Siwei juice to now, although the menu has changed, the owner's dedication to caring for customers remains the same, unchanged for forty years.
