Mercato Pizza, Magong City Introduction
Mercato Pizza comes from the enthusiastic Penghu and offers high-quality seafood pizza. It is also the first cloud pizza specialty store in Taiwan. In 2019, the owner, Liya, personally went to Naples, Italy to learn the trendy "cloud dough" style, which is derived from the "traditional Neapolitan pizza" thin crust. Made with Italian flour and a sourdough starter, the dough undergoes two fermentations and three processes. The crust is topped with carefully selected ingredients and baked in imported Italian ovens to achieve a unique leopard-patterned texture. The pizza crust is airy, soft, and chewy.
