Piang Workshop Introduction

I founded the Pi Yang Workshop, located next to the Bo-ai Church in the Babulu Tribe of Taitung City (153-1 Ma Heng Heng Ave, Taitung City). Although it is still in its early stages, I have been teaching traditional crafts for five to six years. The establishment of the Pi Yang Workshop is of great importance and inspiration for my craftmaking. The Babulu Tribe (Baosang) has never had a traditional craft workshop set up by members of the Puyuma tribe to present the culture and the wisdom and creativity of our ancestors. The workshop serves as a gathering place for tribe members to express their creativity. Here, I, along with the members of the Babulu Tribe, welcome everyone to come and get to know one of the Puyuma tribes, the Babulu Tribe (Baosang). For five years in my leather carving teaching, I have mostly made leather accessories and bags, and I rarely had the opportunity to realize my ideas and creativity by trying different works. Due to a friend who became disabled from a work injury, I often see him suffer from hand abrasions from using his wheelchair. This makes me feel very sympathetic, so I want to try making gloves specifically for wheelchair use, not only to increase practicality, but also...
