National Taitung Living Arts Museum Introduction
The National Taitung Living Arts Center is located across from the Taitung County Government. The current site was formerly the Taitung Martial Arts Hall during the Japanese colonial period. After being demolished in 1980, it was rebuilt into a modern structure and has now become a cultural hub promoting aesthetic education and fostering an artistic environment in Taitung. Strolling through the bright and spacious venue, visitors can view individual works by local artists or themed group exhibitions. From paintings to sculptures, and from multimedia creations to mixed media works, visitors can experience the artists' passion for art through their creations. Occasionally, craftsmen also occupy the exhibition area, allowing visitors to engage in making glass beads, reed weaving, indigo dyeing, and more, integrating art into daily life and illuminating themselves with creativity. In the evening, the National Taitung Living Arts Center takes on a romantic atmosphere. The "Cultural Broadway" space holds occasional nighttime activities featuring local bands, amateur singers, and live performances, with spontaneous and beautiful music attracting crowds, allowing everyone to enjoy a relaxed and wonderful night in a free-spirited ambiance.
