National Taitung Living Arts Center Introduction
National Taitung Living Arts Museum is located across from the Taitung County Government. The current site was originally the Budokan of Taitung during the Japanese colonial period, which was demolished in 1980 and rebuilt as a modern structure. It has now become a cultural venue advocating aesthetic education and cultivating an artistic environment in Taitung. Strolling through the well-lit halls, the exhibition spaces showcase individual works by local artists or thematic group exhibitions. From paintings to sculptures, from multimedia creations to mixed media works, through these pieces, one can see the artists' passion for art from their perspectives. Occasionally, craftsmen also set up workshops in the exhibition area, allowing visitors to create glass beads, weave with bulrush, dye with indigo, and more, integrating art into daily life and illuminating oneself with creativity. After nightfall, the National Taitung Living Arts Museum gives off a romantic atmosphere. The "Cultural Broadway" space holds occasional nighttime events featuring local bands, amateur singers, and live performances, attracting crowds with spontaneous and melodious music, allowing visitors to enjoy a relaxed and wonderful evening in a carefree ambiance.
