TTstyle Original House - Wave House Introduction
TTstyle Original Pavilion is located in the Tiehua New Village Pedestrian Area. The design concept of the wave-shaped ceiling is inspired by the imagery of Taitung's mountains and sea, created by mosaic patterns that depict the blue ocean currents. The seven colors symbolize the convergence of Taitung's seven major indigenous tribes. Additionally, the ceiling functions to collect wind and water as a form of green energy, with a bold and graceful design resembling the motion of ocean waves and the grandeur of layered mountains. The totem design of the pillar below records the lifestyle and culture of indigenous ancestors, rusted and mottled, conveying a beauty of strength and softness, refined by the passage of time. The entire pavilion is also known as the Wave House. The overall structure is built with 50 shipping containers and steel, combined with a design-centric wavy exterior, which has attracted various shops offering indigenous handmade products, unique dining, and coffee shops, making it a new hub for creativity in Taitung.
